Desde pequeña he tenido una pasión el arte y el diseño; siempre siento curiosidad por saber cómo están hechas las cosas, qué materiales utilizan y disfruto mucho inventar objetos nuevos; es por eso que decidí estudiar Diseño Industrial en la Universidad Iberoamericana en la Ciudad de México; especializándome en diseño de Interiores.
Esta misma curiosidad por lo nuevo me llevó a seguir mis estudios en el año 2010 en Barcelona, ciudad en la que viví por 10 años. Barcelona me atrapó desde el primer momento. Vivir cerca del mar me abre la mente; recorrer sus calles, el arte, el diseño y su arquitectura me inspiran, basta con pensar en Salvador Dalí y en Gaudí para entender la magia que encierra esta ciudad.
A finales del año 2013 comencé a pintar con ayuda de Margarita Rodriguez Brahm, y desde que toqué un lienzo y un pincel por primera vez supe que esto era lo que quería hacer el resto de mi vida. Desde entonces, me he dedicado a hacer muchos experimentos con diferentes materiales y texturas; no puedo encasillarme en un único estilo o material, sería ir en contra de mi naturaleza curiosa, creativa y espontanea.
El día de hoy, mis pasiones son las mismas que de pequeña, el Arte y el Diseño, pero ahora, mi intención es llevar el éstos, más allá de un lienzo y para ello creé en 2019 Fragile Art & Help. @fragileartandhelp.
Este proyecto tiene como objetivo:
Usar el arte como un medio pasivo y positivo de comunicación para crear conciencia acerca de especies en peligro de extinción o situación de maltrato.
Reunir fondos para apoyar a organizaciones que estén trabajando activamente para estas causas.
MI VISIÓN es lograr que más artistas, diseñadores, creadores o fotógrafos se unan a Fragile Art & Help para expandir esta conciencia juntos y hacer un cambio real.
My interest in art and design stretches back to the days of my early childhood. I was a curious girl trying to figure out how things were constructed and the materials they were manufactured with. This led me to study Industrial Design at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, specialising in interior design.
Moved by this same curiosity, in 2010 I decided to continue my studies in Barcelona, the city I leaved for 10 years. Barcelona trapped me from the very first time, I found a lot of inspiration walking by the old streets, staring at all the art, the design and the arquitecture of this city; you only have to think of Salvador Dalí and Gaudi to appreciate the magic of this place.
At the end of 2013 I started painting with a little help of a friend called Margarita Rodriguez Brahm, and from the very first moment I touched a canvas and a brush I realized this is what I really wanna do the rest of my life. Sice then I´ve done lots of experiments mixing materiales and textures, I cannot define myself on one only style, that will go against my curious, creative and sponteneous nature.
Today, I have the same passions as when I was a child, Art and Design, but now my intention is to take them beyond a canvas; that´s why, in 2019 I created Fragile Art & Help. @fragileartandhelp
This project has 2 main purposes:
To use art as a passive and positive way of communication to raise awareness about endangered species or animals trapped in vulnerable situations.
Raise funds to support organizations that work hard for any of this causes.
MY VISION: Is to motivate other artists, designers, creators photographers to join Fragile Art & Help so we can expanding this conciousness together in order to make a real change.
